Dark Mode
Guide to designing dark-mode compatible email signatures

A common dark-mode mistake is choosing colors that only work on light backgrounds. Low-contrast typography quickly becomes hard to read.
Use transparent logos and icons. Assets exported with white backgrounds look boxed in dark mode and reduce visual quality.
Keep visual hierarchy strong: primary identity details should have higher contrast, while secondary details can be softer.
Preserve brand colors, but validate them with accessibility contrast checks for better readability across devices.
Always test signatures across clients (Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail) and both themes before publishing.
